Baby Laurel Sika Awo donates two brand new wheelchairs to support the NCTC. The mother, Mrs. Sylvia Opare Bia in her address said the baby was once a patient of the Centre. She narrates that whiles on admission they observed the shortages of wheelchairs to convey patients around the facility. This encouraged them to support the Centre with two wheelchairs as an appreciation.


She also used the opportunity to acknowledge the kind gesture of the current Director, Dr. Kow Entsua-Mensah who assisted them obtain sponsorship for baby Laurel Sika Awo to undergo a successful surgery.


DCNO Patience Engmann who received the donation on behalf of the Centre thanked them for their kind gesture and prayed for God’s blessings for them. She also emphasized how these wheelchairs are going to be of benefit to the centre.
