The Government through the board of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital appointed Professor Mark Mawutor Tettey as the acting Director of the National Cardiothoracic Centre.
This follows the retirement of Dr. Lawrence Sereboe who served as the director of the Centre for eleven years.Professor Mark Mawutor Tettey is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Prof. Mark Mawutor Tettey is a Consultant and a Senior lecturer at University of Ghana Medical School. He has many years of experience in heart related surgery. He has seventy-three publication and 485 citation s according to researchgate.net.
