Promasidor Ghana, makers of popular food brand Cowbell has entered into a long term partnership with National Cardiothoracic Centre to pay surgery bills of some selected patients who are unable to raise money for their surgery.

The company made a donation of GHS 335,700 cedi equivalent of $30,000 to support seven patients who need surgery at the Centre.

Dr. Kow Entsua-Mensah, Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, received the donation on behalf of the Acting Director of the Centre, Prof. Mark Tettey. In his speech he thanked Promasidor Ghana LTD for their kind gesture and expressed excitement about the new partnership that will give hope to the beneficiaries.

He encouraged the general public to support patients who are often unable to bear the cost of heart surgeries. He also encouraged coporate institutions, churches and individuals to support the Centre in various ways to ensure continuous quality care.

The Marketing Manager of Promasidor Ghana LTD, Gideon Kodo expressed his gratitude and willingness of the company to partner with the Centre and continue supporting patients. He mentioned that Promasidor is committed to making this donation annually to support needy patients.
